Step 1: Data input (population)

a) Drag and drop on the button, or select the local Excel population file to upload (frequencies file is required), whichever suits you best. You can download a valid example file (51 populations within 7 groups), or the 20 ID-STRs file (7 populations and same number of groups). If needed, more information about the required input format is available in the Snipper manual.

b) Use the 32 STR training set (7 populations: Africa, Central-South Asia, Europe, East Asia, America, Middle East, Oceania).
